Sinfully Delicious Fare
I don’t know about you, but trying new restaurants and dishes is always a highlight for me whenever I am vacationing (or staycationing). Here in the Chicago Southland we encourage your taste buds to explore the many delicious options at Chucks Southern Comforts Café! Chuck’s features some of the region’s most inspired fusions of Mexican, Cajun-Creole; southern cooking traditions and slow cooked, smoked BBQ. Recently being named one of The 30 Best BBQ Restaurants in America by Open Table makes Chuck’s a “MUST GO.” They have also been featured on shows such as Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, ABC Chicago’s Hungry Hound and WTTW’s Emmy award-winning weekly restaurant review series Check , Please!
If that isn’t enough to make you jump in your car and head to Chuck’s, then check out one of the other unique restaurants in the region.
For true, fresh, farm-to, table fare check out the Harvest Room in Palos Heights.
Enjoy dinner prepared by a chef with some flare at A-Fusion; Japanese, Chinese, Thai Hibachi Buffet and Bar in Matteson.
If you are looking for a Chicago Southland favorite, try Aurelio’s Pizza in Homewood. Tip: ask for your pizza pie to be made in the old pizza oven, it takes twice as long but trust us, it’s SO worth it!
